I promise to catch up on the prompts that I promised for yesterday technically, because where I am, it's 2:05am.
We had to run errands early in the morning and I was up until 4:30pm, just sitting around. It became me trying to keep my eyes open, so I wandered to my domain and proceeded to nap until 8:30pm. Plus I tend to do my best writing at night when everyone in the house is relatively quiet. Night owl over here.
Okay. so Camp NaNoWriMo. I am now participating, attempting 25k words in 11 days. I'm insane, thank you for noticing. Just like now... I should be boosting my pitiful word count from 506 to well beyond 5k. But here I am... updating the blog.
So.
the first prompt ever of this blog will be... RAINY DAY.
This works for my novel.. because well... it rains in Seattle... and that's the location I'm working on in the novel.
You can pick the time length, myself personally a half hour. I'll check back in at 3am.
Love for now.

who... should really stop staring at the NaNo forums now and write.
Alright, it's now 3am. I brought my word count up to 615. Something is better than nothing, right?
Next prompt will be up shortly.
Throw in baking, reading, writing, work, student duties, real life and lots of caffeine and what do you have? The Rambling Caffeine Addict! RamblingCaffeineAddict (c) Paula Peloquin 2016

Hello everyone!
My name is Paula and I thought the internet needed another source for word prompts. Because guess what? This blog is mainly directed towards aspiring writers, to provide inspiration.
Need me to elaborate a little more?
..
Each hour from 5am Eastern Standard Time to 10pm Eastern Standard Time, I will be posting a new prompt to encourage you to reach your daily word count. I had suggested a master prompt thread on NaNoWriMo.org in the forum for Word Sprints and Prompts, but the ever so gracious Heather Dudley, suggested that I link to it offsite... so I wouldn't crash the forums. I was absolutely thrilled with this idea and well.. here I am.
Below, I'll provide links for Heather's nanowrimo.org page as well as my own. Don't know what NaNoWriMo is? I'll provide a link for that website as well.
But basically in a nutshell, it is the non-profit organization that encourages aspiring writers to pen out fifty thousand words in a month... the month of November. That time when the leaves are changing (this depends on your location), the holidays and yummy food. Because.. if you participate in this awesomely insane idea.. by December you'll have the first draft of the story swirling around your mind, the draft you didn't have before. NaNoWriMo provides many resources all year long, various pep talks to keep you encouraged and writers you can talk to. James Patterson even provided a pep talk that was sent via the site's messaging to all participants. I .. can honestly say I squealed in happiness when I read it. It was wonderful.
So to wrap things up before the links take center stage, I will be planning a post for tomorrow, a prompt ... or more for each hour between 5am and 10pm. The prompts have come from the NaNo forums, the Nanowrimo twitter profiles, my brain and other resources. I will credit all due sources.
